Stencil Games

Over the past two weeks, Building Brains Together has had the privilege of partnering with Be Fit For Life to paint outdoor games at four different schools in Lethbridge. Active outdoor play is very beneficial for children, since it simultaneously engages their bodies and brains. The Stencil Games provide endless opportunities for children to head outdoors, get active, and have hours of fun. Be Fit For Life has created a set of game instructions, which can be found here, but children are encouraged to think creatively and invent their own unique games with the stencils. A few of our BBT members have also created videos that demonstrate how to play some of the Stencil Games.  Visit Westminster Elementary School, St. Teresa of Calcutta, Father Leonard Van Tighem or Our Lady of The Assumption schools in Lethbridge to try out the games with your family!
