The event is from 1 to 7 p.m., Sept. 23 (Pow Wow closing time is TBD) downtown, in the pergola area at Galt Gardens. The event is family focused and open to all. It will showcase a one-day competition Pow Wow and presentations, along with local/provincial health care providers and NGOs, coming together in one location to offer a variety of health and wellness interventions and education that serve to address the Truth and Reconciliation and Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women’s calls to action.
